Florence suggested by the NYTimes
Hotel Mario's and its Florentine staff is super happy when media, from abroad, talk in a very positive contest about the beautiful Florence. The journalist Ondine Cohane of New York Times made a reportage about a possible journey of 36 hours in Florence. Here's the article http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/25/travel/25hours.html?_r=1
One of most important point that gives a positive idea of the changement in Florence is about the Piazza del Duomo that is now a pedestrian-only piazza. Without buses, taxis and cars jamming up the street, it is a pleasant and totally new experience, even as it remains one of the city’s most popular attractions.
Consider that Hotel Mario's is in via Faenza, wich is the street that ends exactly in piazza del Duomo. There is another reason to come and stay in Florence and in particulary at Hotel Mario's. Check the website www.hotelmarios.com and check your days, for a fantastic relaxing stay in a cozy small hotel in Florence.
Stay tuned!
